2022 La Grange Rodeo Update
And we need your help!

Our mission is to keep the tradition, so please join us in following guidelines* in place for the 2022  La Grange Rodeo Association events. We know there are a lot of questions and we will do our best to answer them. The safety of our guests, volunteers, contestants, personnel, and staff is a top priority. We have introduced a range of new measures to increase safety during our events.

What safety & security protocols will be implemented at the events to help lower the risk of COVID-19 at the La Grange Rodeo Association Grounds?

The California Rodeo Association encourages all guests, volunteers, contestants, personnel, and staff to get vaccinated.

We will have hand sanitizing stations strategically placed throughout the grounds.

Fans are encouraged to wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Complimentary masks will be available at gates and entrances to any indoor facilities, but feel free to bring/wear your own mask.

There will be signage at entrances listing COVID-19 protocols.

Will I have to be vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter the events?

However, the California Department of Public Health strongly recommends that attendees of large outdoor events be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending. We strongly encourage all guests to get the COVID-19 vaccine if they are eligible.

If you are feeling sick or have symptoms related to COVID-19, please stay home.

If you can’t attend the 2022 La Grange Rodeo Association events this year, we will miss you and look forward to seeing you in 2023.

Is capacity limited for the events?

Capacity will not be limited for the events.

Will I have to wear a mask while attending the events?

Masks are not required for outdoor events, though they are encouraged for everyone-let's mask up so we can saddle up!
Per local and state mandates, masks are required indoors in public settings for unvaccinated individuals while not actively eating or drinking. Our indoor spaces include the Lions Club Building (there is an outdoor area as well where you can watch the show while enjoying a beverage and food).

There will be people attending with all kinds of opinions and they are all welcome. Please respect your fellow fans.

Am I going to have to sign a waiver to attend the events?

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending the events you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and its variants.

We are incredibly thankful for your ongoing support, patience, and understanding. We look forward to seeing you all as we strive to keep the spirit and the traditions of the west alive!
